All Roohani ethnic wear is designed for Indian women's body proportions. Use this guide to find your perfect fit before ordering.
How to measure yourself
Use a soft measuring tape. Measure over your inner garments for the most accurate fit. Always measure the body, not the garment.
- Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso.
- Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 7–8 inches below your waist.
- Length: Measure from the top of your shoulder to the desired hemline.

Fit notes by category
- Anarkali Suits & Gowns: Measured at bust and waist for the bodice. The flared skirt accommodates all hip sizes. We recommend sizing up if you are between sizes for maximum comfort.
- Lehenga Choli: The choli (blouse) is measured at bust. The lehenga skirt comes with a drawstring or hook-and-eye closure — adjustable within 2 sizes. Size by your bust for the choli.
- Kurta Sets & Coord Sets: Our kurtas run true to size. If you prefer a relaxed fit, size up by one.
- Kaftans: Free-flowing silhouette. One Size fits bust 34–42 inches comfortably.
